Liverpool Plot £87M Move For Isak Alternative

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a stunning transfer move for Paris Saint-Germain winger, Bradley Barcola.

The Premier League champions have spent around £300 million this summer and are still looking to add players, making their transfer dealings a hot topic.

The Reds are especially eager to improve their forward line options after letting Luis Diaz leave for a fee worth about £65 million to join Bayern Munich.

Additionally, Darwin Nunez is slated to join Saudi side Al-Hilal for a reported £46.2 million plus £10.4 million in add-ons and Liverpool are anticipated to reinvest the money in Isak after their initial proposal for the Sweden international was turned down.

However, unless they bring in a good replacement, Newcastle are unlikely to approve the transfer of Isak since they will miss out on bringing Benjamin Sesko, who is on the verge of signing for Manchester United.

Consequently, the giants from Merseyside could have to search elsewhere for a new forward.

Liverpool Add Barcola To List Of Isak’s Alternatives

According to The Evening Standard, Liverpool have been keeping an eye on Barcola for a while and are now considering the gifted winger. Indeed, rumors circulated that a bid for the 22-year-old was in the making.

Despite not wanting to sell the Frenchman this summer, PSG are unlikely to take less than £87.3 million (€100 million) from a direct Champions League adversary, according to L’Equipe.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has subsequently affirmed that although Barcola is the Reds’ “dream” target if they can’t sign Isak, no talks have been held with PSG because the Newcastle striker is still the club’s top desire.
