Following the acquisition of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5 million, the Reds are currently undergoing a significant rebuild.
Arne Slot’s team are also looking to add players in a number of other areas, with Florian Wirtz deal all but completed. Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth is also close to joining the team.
Liverpool might use the proceeds from the sale of their fringe players to pay for any other acquisitions they make, particularly in the attack.

According to the Daily Express, Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott, who are anticipated to be sold by the Anfield team this summer, could provide a combined £100 million to the club’s transfer budget.
The Reds want to cut their losses on Nunez after a lackluster stint on Merseyside, and they are asking for around £60 million to let go of the Uruguay international.
The striker has had discussions with Serie A giants Napoli and has plenty of suitors despite some poor performances from the previous campaign. Teams from the Saudi Pro League are also said to be interested.
