Barcelona and Luis Diaz continue to make headlines, with Diario Sport providing the most recent information on the subject.
The Catalan daily believes Diaz has postponed contract discussions with Liverpool until July due to interest from Barcelona, and he does not want to lose out on a move to Hansi Flick’s side.
According to reports, Liverpool may be willing to let Diaz go if they can sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen instead.
Wirtz appears to be on the move this summer, with Bayern, Liverpool, and Manchester City all expressing interest.

It’s not clear yet where he will go, but it’s thought Leverkusen would much rather sell him to a Premier League club than Bundesliga rivals Bayern.
Liverpool are willing to spend big on Wirtz but may then need to offload players. Darwin Nunez looks destined to go, while Diaz could also get the green light to leave.
Barcelona is believed to need a “top-level wide forward who can compete for a starting spot,” with Deco recently admitting that the club is “very dependent” on Yamal and Raphinha.
Diaz’s pushing is particularly respected, as is his potential to play as a No. 9. The fact that he has only two years left on his contract makes Barcelona believe he could be lured away from the Reds.
It remains to be seen what happens, but Liverpool is said to want roughly €80 million for Diaz, making a move appear exceedingly unlikely as things stand.
