Liverpool are reportedly confident on completing a move for Newcastle United forward, Alexander Isak in an astonishing double deal.
According to Team Talk, Liverpool are attempting to get Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace and have prepared a huge fresh bid for Isak, who is leaning towards Newcastle departure.
In a stunning statement released Tuesday night, Isak finally spoke out about his possible departure from St. James’ Park, accusing the Magpies of “broken promises.”
The Sweden star also criticized Newcastle for “misleading” supporters about when he wanted to leave. Isak’s representatives say Eddie Howe was informed last season, but the club maintain that they were unaware of this.

The striker feels that change “is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself” and that the two parties “can’t continue” together.
Newcastle countered by stating they “do not see the conditions for a summer sale being met.”
Despite Newcastle’s adamant position, Liverpool are prepared to make another offer after their deal of £110 million plus add-ons was turned down.
Liverpool Plotting A British Record Transfer For Isak
According to The Sun, Liverpool’s management has “approved a British record £130 million transfer for Isak” in an attempt to test Newcastle’s resolve.
According to the report, Guehi, an England centre-back, could join Isak at Anfield for £35 million.
Guehi’s Palace contract is in its last year, and he has no plans to sign a new one. Since Jarell Quansah was sold to Bayer Leverkusen, he has emerged as Liverpool’s top defensive target.
