Liverpool recently completed a busy summer transfer window and is already making more ambitious plans for the future, according to CaughtOffside.
The Reds want to continue investing in elite talent to improve their roster, and Michael Olise and Marc Guehi are their top objectives.
According to sources in the agent industry, Liverpool is still optimistic of winning the competition to sign Guehi when he becomes a free agent next summer.
Crystal Palace blocked a bid for the England defender late in the previous transfer window, and it is now expected that he will see out his contract and go for free in a year’s time.
Liverpool has relaxed about rival interest in Marc Guehi.
Although there have been rumours of Real Madrid’s interest in Guehi, and other clubs may enter the race as he becomes one of the most appealing free agents on the market, Liverpool is not concerned.
One source was clear that Liverpool is still “confident” that they are leading the hunt for Guehi after accepting personal terms with him this summer.

CaughtOffside was also unable to confirm Real Madrid’s interest in Guehi, with sources close to Liverpool dismissing these reports as “noise”.
Liverpool is considering Michael Olise to replace Mohamed Salah
In addition, CaughtOffside hears that Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as a long-term alternative for Mohamed Salah.
The France international’s asking price is expected to be approximately £87 million, while other reports have indicated that there is a clause or at least a verbal understanding with Premier League clubs to negotiate for somewhat less.
Olise appears to want to return to England, and if he does, he will undoubtedly have lots of suitors.
“Olise is at the top of Liverpool’s list,” a source claimed. “He’s seen by many at Liverpool as a natural Salah heir.”
Bayern will undoubtedly not want to lose an important player like Olise, but they also improved their attack this summer with the acquisition of Luis Diaz, so they have adequate depth in that position.
