French club Lille have stated that they will take unprecedented legal action against its own supporters following reports of racist abuse and hate speech during recent games against Red Star Belgrade and Strasbourg.
The Ligue 1 team stated that police complaints are being drafted and denounced what they described as “unacceptable behavior.”

According to Inside World Football, the club have promised to “pursue legal action and seek appropriate sanctions” and stated that they will be working to find the offenders.
