Bayer Leverkusen sporting director, Simon Rolfes has reportedly claimed the club are yet to receive any bid for Piero Hincapie as they are determined to keep him beyond this summer.
Arsenal To Replace Kiwior With Hincapie
If Jakub Kiwior leaves the team before Monday’s transfer deadline, Arsenal would like to sign Hincapie.
Porto, who are in negotiations with Arsenal after their bid for Kiwior was rejected last month, are interested in the Poland international.

Potential add-ons and bonuses are now being explored as part of continuing negotiations for a loan move that would become permanent next summer.
Although the exact amount of the deal has not yet been decided, it will cost more than the £20 million Arsenal spent two years ago to acquire Kiwior.
Arsenal will try to replace Kiwior if he departs, and Hincapie is their top choice.
The Gunners have been interested in the 23-year-old before this summer given that he can play left-back or in the heart of defence.
Over the past 18 months, Arsenal have been searching for left-sided defenders, and they have scouted Jorrel Hato, who is currently with Chelsea.
According to reports, Hincapie’s contract has a release clause worth approximately €60 million (£52 million).
Mikel Arteta’s side would want to pay less than that or reach an agreement wherein the Ecuadorian would join on loan before completing the transfer permanently next summer.
The defender is one of the German team’s most important players with a contract that expires in 2029, and they are hesitant to let him go.
Leverkusen Yet To Receive Bid For Hincapie
“We still haven’t received an official offer from any club, so he’s our player,” Rolfes told RTL as reported by The Evening Standard. “That’s the status quo.
“He knows that we value him highly and would like to see him continue with us.”
“The transfer window is still open until Monday evening,” said Rofles. “So the probability is high that something will still happen.”
