The Barcelona wonderkid’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, has now stepped in, urging people to show respect and understanding toward his teenage son.

“People need to respect an 18-year-old boy,” Nasraoui told Europa Press. “He’s learning and balancing football with a normal teenage life.”

He emphasised that while Lamine is a professional athlete, he’s also still just a kid trying to enjoy moments off the pitch.

“He deserves to live like any other young man his age,” Nasraoui added. “He has friends, and his family supports him.”

Despite online criticism, Nasraoui says his son remains focused and grounded, ignoring the noise and continuing to train with dedication.

“I don’t care what outsiders say,” he continued. “My son is doing the right things. Most criticism comes from pure envy.”

He passionately defended Lamine’s talent: “We’ve never had a player like him. He’s the number 10 for Spain and Barcelona.”

Nasraoui concluded by urging fans to support, not sabotage, young talent. “Applaud him. Don’t destroy his mind,” he pleaded.

Yamal, meanwhile, stays focused on football and letting his talent speak louder than any controversy off the pitch, reports Barca Universal.
