Kevin De Bruyne’s Three-Word Message After Joining Napoli From Manchester City

Kevin De Bruyne sent  three-word message after completing his free transfer from Manchester City to Napoli. The Belgian spent a decade at Etihad Stadium, winning six Premier League titles and the Champions League in a treble-winning season.

But City chose to let him leave when his contract expired this summer. That was against De Bruyne’s desires, with the 33-year-old taken aback by the club’s decision to release him.

The midfielder was connected with a move to Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami. A contract with Lionel Messi’s side did not go through, and De Bruyne chose to stay in Europe.

He has decided to join Napoli, which won the Serie A title this season. They are guided by Antonio Conte, who De Bruyne has never played for but is widely regarded as one of the top coaches in the game.

The agreement was finalized on Thursday, with a photo of De Bruyne beside Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis. Along with the photo, De Bruyne added a little note to his future team.

De Bruyne penned, “Sono qui.” This translates to ‘I am here’ in English. The Belgian also included a blue love heart emoji at the conclusion of the post. Reported By Mirror News.

Meanwhile, De Laurentiis shared the photo on his social media platforms, along with the message “Benvenuto Kevin!” That translates to ‘Welcome Kevin’ in English.

Napoli has won two of the last three Serie A titles, with this season’s success spearheaded by former Premier League stars Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay. McTominay, a former Manchester United player, was also voted Player of the Year in Italy’s premier division.
