Juventus Open Talks To Sign Second Man Utd Star After Jadon Sancho Agreement

Juventus held conversations with Manchester United about signing Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.

Rashford and Sancho are two of five players United want to sell this summer, along with Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia.

The quintet has been allowed to return to the club’s training facilities, but only after 5 p.m., when the rest of the squad, including Ruben Amorim and his staff, have packed up for the day.

Sancho, who has not played for the first squad since being frozen out by Erik ten Hag in August 2023, spent the previous season on loan at Chelsea.

The Blues eventually decided to pay United £5 million to get out of their contractual obligation to sign the winger permanently.

A new beginning may now await in Italy, with Juventus believed to be close to a deal following promising negotiations with Sancho’s agent on Wednesday.

United paid £72 million to sign the player from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, but they are willing to suffer a significant damage to dispose him, with a deal for £13 million now close.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Juventus held preliminary conversations with United yesterday about signing Rashford.

Talks are in the exploratory stage, with Juventus looking to add to its attacking roster.

Rashford, like Sancho, is not in Amorim’s plans after the Portuguese coach withdrew him from the team in December.

The England international joined Aston Villa in January, when he found his form, but decided against a permanent move to Villa Park.

Barcelona is Rashford’s favorite destination, but there has been no progress on a deal to get him to Camp Nou.
