Juventus are reportedly still in talks with Liverpool over the possible signing of Federico Chiesa in this January transfer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus executives are still pursuing Chiesa and are moving forward with negotiations with Liverpool.
Nevertheless, the Italian winger’s future partly hinges on Mohamed Salah’s decision to remain at Anfield.
The Bianconeri are certain that their former winger is Luciano Spalletti’s perfect attacking reinforcement because Chiesa is already familiar with the team and Italian football, so he wouldn’t require much time to adjust.

The 28-year-old is far from a consistent starter at Anfield, having only moved from Juventus to Liverpool 18 months ago.
While the Old Lady are seeking for a loan agreement with a buyout option, Gazzetta confirms that the Reds are only willing to send Chiesa back to Juventus on a permanent transfer.
Chiesa’s future also relies on Salah’s decision to stay at Liverpool for the end of the current campaign in spite of his recent disputes with Arne Slot.
Given how much Juventus have evolved in the last few months, Chiesa would be happy to return.
The Italy international is admired by Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini and coach Spalletti, and Cristiano Giuntoli and Thiago Motta, who eventually lobbied for his departure in 2024, have left.
