In the most recent Liverpool news, club hero Jamie Carragher has spoken out about the team’s crushing Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven, while Klopp has previously praised a head coach who could be on Liverpool’s radar if Slot is fired.
Carragher bemoans “sackable offence”
In a passionate diatribe, Jamie Carragher claimed Slot should be fired for repeatedly selecting Ibrahima Konate. The French international has faced criticism for his performances this season.

Konate was once again scrutinized after a string of errors in their 4-1 Champions League defeat on Wednesday. Slot eventually replaced Konate in the second half.
The clearly enraged Liverpool icon was then seen making a phone conversation and blasting Slot, adding, “I mean, that’s a sackable offence for the manager; he keeps picking him.” He should be fired for that. They scored again, this time 4-1. “What is this, nine [defeats] in twelve?”
Despite demanding Slot’s dismissal in a heated moment, Carragher has insisted that the Reds manager deserves more time.
