Following the festivities after El Clasico, Flick was spotted on Sunday night dining with President Joan Laporta and agent Pini Zahavi. A number of rumors regarding a deal to prolong his contract then surfaced.
“It’s not the time to speak about it. I said it often before, I have one more year, I’m in no hurry. We had dinner with the president and had a great time, but it was not planned or anything.
I’m really happy here, as I mentioned before, but it’s not done yet. Nothing is done. We have to wait, and I can wait no problem.”
However, Flick did consider the possibility of extending his contract in the summer. However, the German coach did not want to know about it before the season ended, reports Football Espana.
“The important thing first is to play these three games, and then we’ll talk about everything. Now isn’t the right time to think about this.
