Guardiola claims he hasn’t determined who he’ll pick to play Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.
James Trafford has started the season in goal, but his nervous performance in last week’s loss to Tottenham, in which he made a costly blunder that resulted in a goal, has muddled the situation.
The 22-year-old had kept his spot since the season-opening win over Wolves, when Ederson was unable to participate due to sickness.
However, with conjecture surrounding the Brazilian’s future – and City also connected with Paris St Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma – the position remains murky.
Guardiola is expected to make a final choice after the transfer market closes next week and club football resumes following the impending international break.

“After that, we’ll play (Manchester) United, the Champions League, and Arsenal. After that, everything will become clearer, and we will make decisions. It is determined by performance and a variety of other factors.
“It’s not just the keepers, (it’s) all the players.”
Trafford, a City academy alumnus, returned to the club in a £27 million deal in July after excelling at Burnley.
Guardiola is optimistic the player will recover from his nervous home debut against Tottenham.
