Gavi Out For Six Weeks As Barcelona Dealt Heavy Injury Blow

Gavi is reportedly set to be out for six weeks due to a meniscus injury in a heavy blow to Barcelona.

Following two weeks of recovery after missing out against Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona’s medical staff evaluated Gavi on Friday.

According to Gerard Romero, the plan is to continue with a conservative treatment of rest in order to prevent surgery on the meniscus.

The club and Gavi will meet again next week to determine whether Gavi has improved or needs to have an arthroscopy.
