Galatasaray are reportedly making a late enquiry about Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana as the summer transfer window is coming to an end.
Although the Istanbul club are still in touch with Manchester City for Ederson, they are already expanding their search to make sure they don’t lose out on a big-name acquisition in goal because of the difficult negotiations they have had with City.
According to CaughtOffside, Onana is one name that has lately come up on Galatasaray’s radar.
Now that Senne Lammens is getting closer to joining Old Trafford, the Super Lig champions have started to look into the Cameroon international’s availability.

The fact that Onana’s name has come up in the conversation demonstrates Galatasaray’s desire to sign a well-known goalkeeper, even though sources say the talks have been very preliminary and exploratory.
Onana Willing To Continue At Man United
Onana is still committed to staying at United and battle for his spot under Ruben Amorim.
In the past, the Portuguese manager referred to Onana as a “top” player and lauded him for his efforts at Inter Milan.
Nonetheless, the shot-stopper understands the need of consistent playing time, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching. Onana hasn’t played a game for the Red Devils so far this season.
If his circumstances at United don’t improve, it could be hard to resist the prospect of moving to Galatasaray, where he would surely play a significant role.
