FPL GW38 Recap: What An End To The 2024-25 FPL Season; iSoccer Winners

The 2024-25 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season has officially come to an end. And what a way to end the season though, there were not much goals across all match centres compared to previous seasons. However, this doesn’t stop managers to see their assets get involved in the thick of things.

Finally, Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) broke his mini-goal drought following his strike in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

The Egyptian last recorded a goal involvement since GW34 when the Reds sealed the Premier League title after thumping Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield.

The 32-year-old scored a whooping 344 points throughout the season which is a record tally.

Jordan Pickford (£5.2m) made a late surge to top the ranking for goalkeepers following his 11 points haul in Everton’s 1-0 win against Newcastle United to record 158 points for the season.

Josko Gvardiol (£6.5m) topped the chart for defenders with 153 points, five ahead of second-placed Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m).

For the forwards category, Alexander Isak (£9.4m) took the crown previously won by Erling Haaland (£14.9m) in the last two seasons. The Swede tallied 211 points for the season, eleven ahead of this campaign’s surprise package, Chris Wood (£7.2m)

What a run we’ve had this season. From now, till August, it is goodbye from this space!
