The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 26 presented managers with the first double GW of the season as Arsenal and Wolves played twice which gave the owners of Gunners assets an opportunity to boost their rankings as they play Brentford and Rob Edwards’ side.
Several managers gave Gabriel Magalhaes (£7.1m) the armband due to his threat in attacking set-pieces and Arsenal’s ability to keep it tight at the back. The Brazilian defender returned seven points across these two matches.
Gabriel’s teammate, Piero Hincapie (£5.1m) claimed 15 points following an assist in the draw with Brentford before doubling Arsenal’s lead with a well taken strike in the second half against Wolves.

Manchester City defender, Nico O’Reilly (£4.9m) netted a goal, kept a clean sheet and claimed the maximum bonus points to collect 15 points in the Cityzens’ 3-0 victory over Fulham.
The 21-year-old’s teammate, Antoine Semenyo (£8.0m) plundered 14 points following a goal and an assist.
Virgil van Dijk (£5.9m), who won the player of the week with 17 points did so after scoring the only goal, kept a clean sheet, claimed two defensive contributions points and three bonus points as Liverpool inflicted Sunderland their first loss at home this season..

Cole Palmer (£10.6m) continued from where he left off at Wolves as he returned 12 points in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Leeds United following a goal, an assist and three bonus points.
