FPL GW22 Recap: Dorgu The Real Odogwu; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 22 saw two Manchester United assets recorded double figures in their 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the Manchester derby.

Bruno Fernandes (£9.2m) collected 10 points alongside Patrick Dorgu (£4.3m), who was the player of the week with 15 points after he scored a goal, kept a cleansheet and claimed the maximum bonus points.

Not to forget Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m), who claimed nine points after notching a goal and also collected one bonus point.

Still on the derby, the most owned asset, Erling Haaland (£15.1m) recorded a blank putting his owners in a crossroad of whether to part ways with him or still stick with him.

The Norwegian has failed to produce a return in four of the last five matches. His teammate, Phil Foden (£8.6m), who is now being massively shipped out has failed to deliver any return in each of his last six games after having purple patch performances as he plundered four successive double digit hauls from GW13-16.

Liverpool ace, Florian Wirtz (£8.3m) seems to be finding his feet in England going by his recent performances.

The Germany international has notched an attacking return in four of his last six matches scoring double figures in three of those including the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Burnley this gameweek.

All eyes will be on the 22-year-old going forward as all of Liverpool’s next four fixtures rank three and four.
