The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 21 saw Erling Haaland (£15.1m) finally brought to an end, his ‘long’ goal scoring drought which spanned a period of three GWs.
The 25-year-old converted a penalty in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.
The last gameweek recap saw us write about the Norwegian and if he is a concern as far as the captain armband is concerned. Even though we listed a number of alternatives to him, we advised the managers to thread carefully whilst looking at City’s next five fixtures.
In other centres, for the first time this campaign, three Brentford assets featured in the team of the week.
Igor Thiago (£7.1m) netted a brace to record 12 points in the Bees’ 3-0 win over Sunderland following a hat-trick in his side’s 4-2 victory away at Everton.

The Brazilian forward has now produced 38 points in the last five gameweeks.
His teammates, Caoimhin Kelleher (£4.5m) and Nathan Collins (£5.0m) both plundered 13 points with the former saving a spot kick while the latter provided an assist and they both kept a cleansheet.
Benjamin Sesko (£7.2m) scored a brace for the first time in his Manchester United career during their 2-2 draw with Burnley to collect 13 points.
Newcastle United duo, Harvey Barnes (£6.1m) and Bruno Guimaraes (£7.2m) recorded double-figure hauls in the Magpies entertaining 4-3 victory over Leeds United.
The former, whose 15 points was enough to scoop the player of the week gong did so following a brace and the maximum bonus points, while the latter has now produced double-digits in each of the last three GWs.
