FPL GW2 22 Recap: Magnificent Foden; iSoccer Winners

Now back to business, the FPL GW 22 was hugely dominated by differentials barring Chris Wood (£7.1m), who has already made himself popular among managers as he is currently owned by 43 percent of FPL players globally.

The Kiwi collected 12 points following a goal and an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 win against Southampton.

Having notched a hat-trick of penalties against Wolves, Justin Kluivert (£5.6m) hit another three goals and an assist – this time around no penalty – in Bournemouth’s 4-1 win at Newcastle United and subsequently claimed 22 points to emerge as the player of the week.

Second to the Dutchman was Phil Foden (£9.3m), who after scoring a brace in Manchester City’s 2-2 draw against Brentford at the G-Tech stadium, repeated the same feat, though added an assist this time around as the Cityzens thumped Ipswich Town 6-0 at Portman Road.

For the first time in a while two Liverpool players appeared on the Team of the Week. Alisson Becker (£5.5m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) claimed 9 and 11 points respectively to be in the best XI as Mohamed Salah (£13.7m) missed out in consecutive gameweeks following his blanks against Forest and Brentford.
