FPL GW18 Recap: Any Double-Digit Haul? iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 18 saw several players hit the double-figure mark.

Among those featured in the team of the week, just two – Micky van de Ven (£4.5m) and Martin Dubravka (£4.0m) were owned by more than 15 percent of managers. In essence, this gameweek was one for the differentials.

GW18 started with a boxing day fixture involving Manchester United and Newcastle at Old Trafford which ended 1-0 in favour of the hosts.

Patrick Dorgu (£4.1m) was the scorer of the only goal as he also kept a cleansheet, claimed two defensive contribution points as well as the maximum bonus points which earned his owners 17 points.

The Dane’s teammate, Diogo Dalot (£4.5m) was four points off his tally following an assist, cleansheet, two DCs and two bonus points.

Rayan Cherki (£6.7m) scored a goal and provided an assist which subsequently rewarded his owners 13 points in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.

The Frenchman now has two double-digit hauls and blanked just once in the last four games.

Liverpool duo, Ryan Gravenberch (£5.7m) and Florian Wirtz (£8.1m) recorded 11 and 10 points respectively in the Reds’ 2-1 victory over struggling Wolves.

Arsenal midfielder, Martin Odegaard (£7.8m) found himself on the team of the week for the first time this season following his goal in the Gunners’ 2-1 triumph of Brighton and Hove Albion.

This is just the second time the Norwegian has provided an attacking return this campaign, the first was against Newcastle in GW6.

For the first time since gameweek eight, Dubravka recorded a haul in Burnley’s stalemate with Everton.

The highly owned substitute goalkeeper collected 11 points as a result of his outstanding performance in goal where he had six saves to keep the Toffees at bay.

Brentford ace, Kevin Schade (£7.0m) was the star of the week following his hat-trick to earn his owners 20 points in the Bees’ comprehensive 4-1 victory over Bournemouth.
