We at the International(i) Soccer will like use this medium to apologize to our avid readers and the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 14 winners for not publishing the recap for the GW.
Do not fret, as you will be rewarded accordingly just like how we have consistently dish them out in the last three seasons.
Gameweek 15 offered so much to look into regarding players’ performances and which assets to trust going into the festive period.
First asset on the list is none other than Manchester City ace, Phil Foden (£8.5m), who has raked in millions of new owners in the last three GWs.
The 25-year-old has justified the astonishing increase in ownership following a whopping 44 points within this time whilst claiming the player of the week in GW14 against Fulham courtesy of 17 points after scoring two goals, two defensive contributions points and the maximum bonus points.
He is already topping the most transferred-in chart ahead of City’s clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Foden’s teammates, Ruben Dias (£5.6m) and Josko Gvardiol (£5.9m) contributed defensively and in the attack as they both scored and kept a cleansheet to collect 14 and 12 points respectively in the Cityzens’ 3-0 win over Sunderland.
Another asset pulling the strings in the last five gameweeks or so, is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.1m).
The Everton midfielder has recorded an attacking return in four of his last five matches including the 16 points he claimed thanks to a goal, an assist, two DC points and three bonus points in the Toffees’ 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Xavi Simons (£6.5m) broke his deadlock in the Premier League as his goal and an assist helped Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-0 triumph over Brentford.
Hugo Ekitike (£8.4m) brought his goalscoring drought to an end following a brace in Liverpool’s 3-3 draw at Leeds.
The 23-year-old Frenchman last produced an attacking return in the Reds’ Merseyside derby win against Everton in gameweek five.
