The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 11 and 12 are like sesame twins as there was not much difference in terms of the global average and popularly owned assets returning little to no points to their owners.
Compared to gameweek 11, the just concluded GW average score was just one point above, and highly-owned assets such as Erling Haaland (£14.9m), Joao Pedro (£7.5m), Bryan Mbeumo (£8.6m), Bukayo Saka (£10.1m), Jean-Philippe Mateta (£8.1m), and Mohamed Salah (£14.2m) all recorded blanks in their respective fixtures thereby making managers rely on points elsewhere.
Well, regardless of whether assets with high ownership blanked or not, some players (relatively high ownership or massive differential) do pop up with huge points and make up for the regulars at least for that particular gameweek.
This is where players like Eberechi Eze (£7.7m), who netted a hat-trick in Arsenal’s 4-1 north London derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur come in.

With just 13 percent ownership, the 27-year-old recorded 20 points – his best ever return – to claim the player of the week prize.
Murillo (£5.3m) produced his first return of the season in Nottingham Forest’s stunning 3-0 win at Anfield against outgoing champions Liverpool.
The Brazilian star, who is owned by 2.1 percent of managers, plundered a massive 17-point haul following a goal, a cleansheet, two defensive contributions points and three bonus points.
He is joined by two other Forest assets, Neco Williams (£4.7m) and Nicolo Savona (£4.5m) to produce double digit hauls.

Newcastle United winger, Harvey Barnes (£6.3m) and Aston Villa midfielder, Morgan Rogers (£6.8m) are also massive differentials, who returned double figures against Manchester City and Leeds United respectively.
Daniel Munoz (£5.9m), who has largely been a source of joy to his owners, continues his impressive streak in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 win away at Wolves.
The Colombia international scored a goal, kept a cleansheet and claimed the maximum bonus points to collect 14 points. His seasonal tally of 74 points is only bettered by Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.4m) among all defensive assets this campaign.
