The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 11 was somewhat an uneventful one for majority of managers, who saw several of their assets provide no returns which culminated in a very low points as the average for the week was pegged at 38.
Arsenal’s defensive assets have been a major source of joy for managers since GW 7 as the Gunners remarkably kept a cleansheet in each of their last four matches going into the game against newly promoted Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Surprisingly, Mikel Arteta’s side shipped in two goals for the first time this season, meaning Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.6m), David Raya (£5.9m), Jurrien Timber (£6.1m), William Saliba (£6.0m) and Riccardo Calafiori (£5.8m) all returned blanks to their owners.
Antoine Semenyo (£8.1m), who is currently the most owned midfielder in the game missed a penalty as Bournemouth suffered a comprehensive 4-0 loss away at Aston Villa.,

Following his two strikes in the last two matches for Liverpool, Mohamed Salah (£14.2m) could not repeat the same trick in the Reds’ 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Although, there are some popular assets, who produced returns for their owners chief amongst them is Erling Haaland (£14.8m), who just can’t stop scoring.
Despite missing a penalty early in the game against Liverpool, the Norwegian rose highest to connect with a sublime cross from Matheus Nunes.
His teammate, Jeremy Doku (£6.4m) recorded a double digit haul following a goal and three bonus points to cap off an outstanding display at the Etihad stadium.
Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) also came to his owners’ rescue following a goal, two defensive contribution points and three bonus points.
Malo Gusto (£4.9m) and Michael Keane (£4.5m) continued the trend of defenders raking in the highest points in a gameweek.

The two players recorded 15 points apiece in their respective fixtures to hand their owners a boost in a week where hauls were hard to come by.
