Four Arsenal Stars Set To Miss Nottingham Clash But Duo Could Return

Arsenal are reportedly worried about how serious William Saliba injury is as he is expected to miss the Gunners’ clash against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Saliba twisted his ankle in the early minutes of Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat to Liverpool a week last Sunday, and had to be replaced by Cristhian Mosquera.

Saliba was left out of France’s team for their World Cup qualifying matches against Iceland and Ukraine.

With Mikel Arteta expected to provide an update later this week, L’Equipe stated over the weekend that the 24-year-old would miss up to a month of action.

However, if those rumors are true, Saliba would undoubtedly miss the match against the Tricky Trees, which will be Ange Postecoglou’s first game as manager.

According to Nottingham Post, the France international is not the player out for Arsenal, Bukayo Saka is also expected to miss some time due to hamstring injuries sustained during last month’s victory against Leeds.

Saka does not require surgery, but Arteta stated that he would be sidelined for a few weeks. The winger was not included in the England team that played Serbia and Andorra.

He is expected to miss the match against Forest, but there is a chance he could be fit for the Manchester City visit.

Due to hamstring and knee injuries, respectively, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus will also miss the Premier League match and are unlikely to make a comeback any time soon.

However, Christian Norgaard and Ben White might return for the match at the Emirates.
