Arsenal continued their preparations at London Colney ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.
The biggest boost for Mikel Arteta came as captain Martin Odegaard returned to full training after recovering from his MCL injury.
Odegaard has not featured since suffering the knee problem against West Ham in October, but he is now pushing to make his first matchday squad in several weeks.

He was present in a non-playing role during Arsenal’s 4–1 win over Tottenham on Sunday and is edging closer to a competitive return.
However, not all news was positive for the Gunners, with four key players absent from the final training session.
Four Players Missing From Training
Star striker Viktor Gyökeres was once again sidelined as he continues to recover from a muscle injury picked up after scoring against Burnley earlier this month.
Gabriel Magalhães, Kai Havertz and teenage midfielder Max Dowman were also missing, creating further uncertainty ahead of the Bayern clash.
There was encouragement for Arteta, though, as defenders Piero Hincapié and Riccardo Calafiori both trained after suffering minor knocks in the derby win over Spurs.
Gabriel Jesus also trained with the squad as he works towards making his first appearance since January following long-term injury issues, reports
Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli both took part in the session as well, having recently returned from their respective knee and groin injuries.
Free agent Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and academy defender Marli Salmon were also spotted training with the group, reports Football London.
