Radnicki 1923 players wept on the field after their manager Mladen Zizovic passed away from a heart attack minutes into their match against Mladost on Sunday.
Twenty-two minutes into their Serbian SuperLiga game against Mladost Lucani at Stadion Mladosti in Lucani, Zizovic was taken to the hospital.
According to The Mirror, he was treated on the pitchside while the referee halted play due to a medical issue.
The game continued with Radnicki 1923 2-0 ahead after the father of three from Bosnia and Herzegovina was brought to the hospital. However, it was eventually called off as word spread that Zizovic had passed away.

There were poignant moments on the field as Radnicki players cried and their opponents appeared stunned.
Eventually, the referee left the startling scene behind as he carefully made his way off the field and down the tunnel.
Tributes have been paid to Zizovic, who led teams in North Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina before taking over Radnicki 1923 last month.
The Serbian FA said in a statement: “The Football Association of Serbia has received with deep sorrow and disbelief the news of the sudden death of FK Radnicki 1923 coach Mladen Zizovic, who passed away during the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia match between Mladost and Radnicki 1923 in Lucani.
“His untimely departure represents a tremendous loss for the entire football community.
“The Football Association of Serbia expresses its deepest condolences to the Zizovic family, the members of FK Radnicki 1923, as well as all friends and admirers of his character and work.
“Rest in peace, Mladen. Your love for football and the legacy you left behind will remain with us forever.”
