Despite the poor attendance, FIFA officials consider the Club World Cup a success. Chelsea’s first match of the tournament against Los Angeles FC drew only 22,137 people to the massive Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
They are also bracing for lower attendance in other Group matchups, although were expecting poor crowds in some games despite lowering ticket prices to as little as £38 for ordinary admission.
FIFA, on the other hand, has already tallied aggregate attendance of more than 250,000 for the event, and they fully expect it to take off in the latter rounds, with significant matchups set up. According To Mirror News.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City, as well as other European giants and stars such as Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, and Lionel Messi, might draw large crowds.

They saw crowds of over 60,000 for Inter Miami’s opener and 80,000 or more at the Rose Bowl to watch PSG defeat Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea was a major letdown in Atlanta on Monday, but the game was played at 3 p.m. local time on a typical business day, and there is speculation that they will continue to play daytime games at the World Cup next year.
But the feeling is that it has so far been a success rather than a flop despite the stay-away fans and public criticism of players being forced to play too many games.
