Fernandes Seriously Pondering Leaving Man United For Al-Hilal

Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes is reportedly considering joining Al-Hilal following a huge offer from the Saudi Pro League club.

Al-Hilal and Miguel Pinho, Fernandes’s agent, have discussed a rumored £100 million deal, and United have not ruled out selling him.

According to Manchester Evening News, in order for Fernandes, 30, to play for Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup in the United States next month, they are keen to finalize a deal as soon as possible.

After finishing 15th in the Premier League, their worst top-flight performance since relegation in 1974, United are comfortable with the situation and are willing to consider offers for any member of the squad.

Fernandes raised concerns about his future after United’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur in last week’s Europa League final, implying that the team could “cash in” on him.

Fernandes was acquired by United from Sporting in January 2020 for a total of £67.7 million. During his six seasons with the team, he has won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award four times.

Fernandes, who was a losing European finalist with United for the second time in Bilbao nine days ago, has, nevertheless, led United to some of their worst seasons in recent memory.

With 19 goals in 2024–25, Fernandes led United in goals and was named Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year.

The Portugal international has maintained his professionalism while performing his duties as club captain while on United’s postseason trip in Hong Kong.
