Marseille forward, Mason Greenwood was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings in a pre-season friendly game on Saturday.
Both Greenwood, 23, and Mings, 32 started the match which the home team won 3-1 at the Stade Velodrome.
Five minutes in, the former Manchester United striker opened the lead for Marseille, and three minutes later, John McGinn tied the score.
Then, late in the game, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a former player for Chelsea and Arsenal, scored two goals. And what started out as a low-contact, fitness-boosting activity turned into a flaming show.

After fouling Villa midfielder Amadou Onana in the 87th minute, Greenwood shoved and yelled at the Belgian.
As players from both sides attempted to break up the brawl, Mings intervened swiftly and grabbed the 23-year-old before it got out of hand.

What Did Marseille Head Coach Say About The Brawl?
After the match, Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi revealed that his opposite number Unai Emery had “complained” about the behaviour of the home side’s players.
“He complained to my players. I prefer that he takes care of his players, and I take care of mine,” De Zerbi said.
“The match was heated, it’s good that it’s like that, people paid to come to the Vélodrome, when they could have gone to the beach, we have to respect them. We should have been more aggressive from the start.
“We have to go there with the same attitude, not act without commitment. Tomorrow (Sunday) morning, we train, no time to have fun or make ourselves look pretty.”
At first, it was unclear why Mings responded the way he did, but according to a report from The Sun, “Greenwood is claimed to have spat” at Onana, who clutched his face during his feud with the Englishman, even though the two were at that time standing a good distance apart.
