Erik Ten Hag Plans Double Manchester United Raid After Taking Over At Bayer Leverkusen

Erik ten Hag is expected to look at Manchester United as he plans his first moves as Bayer Leverkusen manager. Following Xabi Alonso’s move to Real Madrid, the Dutchman was appointed head coach of the Bundesliga team.

Ten Hag’s appointment at Leverkusen marks his return to football after being fired by the Red Devils in October following a dismal start to the season. That does not appear to have stopped him from keeping an eye on Old Trafford while considering the signings he expects to make for his future club.

Such an approach could yet yield significant benefits for Leverkusen. United are open to bids for any member of their squad after a disappointing season that saw them finish 15th in the Premier League.

And Ten Hag is eager to sign a United duo with little prospect of a future at the club. According to the kicker, Leverkusen’s decision-makers are discussing both Antony and Alejandro Garnacho. Reported By Mirror.

A deal for Antony has become more possible after the Brazil international impressed on loan at Real Betis. The former Ajax star has struggled to break into Ruben Amorim’s plans, and United are looking to cash in on a player they purchased for £82 million.

When Amad was asked if he hoped Garnacho would stay at the club, Amorim was seen using his hand to conceal a laugh. The Ivory Coast international would prefer to see his teammate stay.

Amad stated, “Alejandro is an extremely talented player, and we need good guys on our team. I know Garna very well, so I want to have her next season. It’s not a major concern for the team. “Everything is fine now.”
