England Icon Meddle In Bellingham And Tuchel Row

The controversy surrounding Jude Bellingham and Thomas Tuchel, according to former England player John Barnes, is a “storm in a teacup” as he dismissed rumors of a conflict between the two individuals.

After being left out of previous squads, Bellingham returned to the Three Lions camp for the most recent round of internationals.

He made headlines on Sunday during the victory over Albania. In the final moments, shortly after England were 2-0 up, the Real Madrid player was substituted.

When Tuchel decided to bring in Morgan Rogers, Bellingham was unimpressed. After the game, his response became the primary topic of conversation, with the England manager saying he will review what happened.

What Did Barnes Say On Bellingham And Tuchel Feud?

According to The Mirror, Barnes supported Tuchel for making difficult choices because he thinks the situation has been exaggerated.

He told the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast: “It’s a storm in a teacup. I think it’s been exaggerated. y

“No player is happy to come off, but I don’t think he overreacted. People are saying he was being petulant when he came off, I never saw that.

“The manager is right. When you talk about finishers now, rather than substitutes, they’re all equally as worthy.

“You’re part of a squad, and if you’re coming on for Jude Bellingham, then you must be a very good player. Jude has to understand that, and he does.”
