Diogo Jota is slated to appear on the Premier League’s official trading cards for the 2025-26 season, following his terrible death at the age of 28 last month.
On July 3, Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, were killed in an early morning vehicle accident in northern Spain.
The attacker recently married his childhood girlfriend in a ceremony in his native Portugal, capping up a season that included trophy wins for both club and country.
Liverpool has paid several tributes to the forward since, with Reds manager Arne Slot arguing that retiring Jota’s number was the least the club could do.
He will be remembered forever at Anfield, and he will be featured on several trading cards in the official Topps collection for the new season, which will be released on Thursday.

That’s because the selection of players from each club had to be finalized by May, with packs going into production ahead of the launch. According to reports, Topps alerted Liverpool to the problem.
The collection, which will be released internationally on August 21, features signed cards with authentic autographs. Jota is thought to have signed some of the cards, according to The Athletic.
Debut boxes could be pre-ordered for £87.99, while the beginner pack cost £11.99 and the environmental pack was £8.99.
Liverpool paid a heartfelt tribute to Jota and Silva over the weekend, ahead of a double-header of friendlies against Athletic Bilbao on Monday night.
