David Moyes Told He’s Doing A Better Job Than Mikel Arteta As Everton Transfer Is Revealed

David Moyes is doing a better job at Everton than Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, or Arne Slot with Liverpool.

That’s the opinion of Anders Limpar, a player who has won major accolades at both Everton and Arsenal, despite the fact that Arteta’s squad is now leading the Premier League and battling on all four fronts of the competitions in which they have competed this season.

Led by Arteta, another player who has played for both clubs, the Gunners are currently seven points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League, have been drawn away to Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-finals, and will face Leverkusen in the Champions League round of 16.

In comparison, the Blues were only one point above the relegation zone in January of last year when Moyes, the manager who brought Arteta to Goodison Park in 2005, returned for a second spell in command. Everton, who ended 13th last season, are currently ninth in the rankings as they prepare to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Speaking to FruityKing, Limpar stated: “If you have a manager like David Moyes achieving marvels with Everton, that’s a much better achievement than Mikel Arteta winning the Premier League with 22 world-class players, Pep Guardiola doing the same, or Arne Slot. It’s a more impressive managerial achievement.

“I’m not here to question any managers, but when you look at what each manager has to work with, compare that to Moyes. He’s quite clever.

“I believe he has also become an honorary Scouser. He knows the people.
