At 40 years old, Ronaldo showed no signs of slowing down, playing the full 90 minutes and captaining his side to victory.

Portugal came from behind to beat Germany, with goals from Francisco Conceição and Ronaldo turning the match around in just five minutes.

Germany had taken the lead early in the second half through Liverpool target Florian Wirtz, raising fears of an upset.

But Ronaldo calmly slotted home a simple finish after Conceição’s equaliser, securing a 2-1 win for Roberto Martinez’s side.

This marks Ronaldo’s 220th cap for Portugal, extending his record as the most capped male international footballer of all time.

After the match, he posted a defiant message on social media: “ONWARDS PORTUGAL,” signaling his hunger for more silverware.

Ronaldo previously led Portugal to Nations League success in 2019 and now aims to repeat that feat in Munich, reports Goal.

Portugal will face either France or Spain in Sunday’s final at the Allianz Arena in what could be Ronaldo’s last major international final.

Win or lose, Ronaldo’s place as a footballing legend is already well secured—but he clearly isn’t finished yet.
