Chelsea forward, Joao Pedro was left in a pretty bad state following an accidental collusion with Brazil team-mate Gabriel Martinelli.
The former Brighton player, who left the Amex for £60 million to join the Blues in the summer, was spotted throwing up on the field during his nation’s World Cup qualifying match against Chile.
According to The Mirror, the Brazilian pair attempted to attack a ball into the Chilean box in the 18th minute of play when the event happened. Pedro turned to vomit on the Maracana pitch while he was sitting there getting attention.

Before being replaced by Kaio Jorge, the 23-year-old, who was receiving only his fourth senior cap, rallied to play 71 minutes. With goals from Bruno Guimaraes, Estevao, and Lucas Paqueta, Brazil ultimately prevailed 3-0.

Brazil have already secured their spot in the World Cup for next summer and are currently ranked second in South American qualifying.
Bolivia, who still have a chance to qualify for the inter-confederation playoffs will be their opponent in their last qualifying match.
There was no spot for Santos star Neymar, but seven Premier League players started for Brazil, with two more coming off the bench.
“It was a technical decision based on many factors,” manager Carlo Ancelotti said.
“Nobody can question Neymar’s technical ability. What we assess every day, and for every match, is physical fitness. That applies not just to him, but to everyone,” Ancelotti added.
Following a stint in Saudi Arabia, the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player returned to Santos in January. The 33-year-old hasn’t played for his country since 2023, but he has scored six goals in his second stint with the team.
