Christopher Nkunku, who made the move to Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023, is reportedly being monitored once more by Bayern Munich.

The German champions have revived their pursuit after missing out on targets like Nico Williams and Florian Wirtz.

Since his switch to Stamford Bridge, Nkunku has endured a challenging debut season due to injuries, managing only nine Premier League starts.

Nevertheless, he tallied 15 goals across all competitions, impressing mostly in cup fixtures and European matches.

The 27-year-old enjoyed an outstanding spell in the Bundesliga, with 70 goals and 56 assists in 172 appearances for Leipzig, making him a familiar name to Bayern.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to let Nkunku leave, but only through a full transfer, ruling out the possibility of a temporary move, reports Shoot.

As manager Enzo Maresca prepares his squad, with Nicolas Jackson back from suspension and Joao Pedro aiming for a starting role, Nkunku’s uncertain future could soon become a major storyline in Chelsea’s summer plans.
