Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has found himself in fresh trouble after receiving another driving ban while already battling a long-running doping suspension.
The Ukrainian has not played since November 2024 due to an alleged banned-substance violation, a charge he continues to deny.

Despite whispers that Mudryk could return to football in January under appeal—with Sevilla reportedly monitoring a loan move—the 24-year-old has again damaged his reputation off the pitch.
According to reports, he appeared in court this week after being caught driving while disqualified.
Mudryk was stopped in Chiswick on October 2 while behind the wheel of a BMW M8 worth around £140,000. He was pulled over just weeks after receiving a previous six-month driving ban for excessive speeding.
Fresh legal trouble compounds Mudryk’s difficult year
At the time of the latest incident, Mudryk was found to be driving with no insurance, no valid licence and dangerously tinted windows that exceeded legal limits.
The prosecution described the vehicle as being in a condition “likely to cause danger”.
Mudryk admitted the offences at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, saying he drove only because his chauffeur was unavailable, reports London World.
His legal team argued that the winger’s troubled year—particularly the psychological impact of the doping case—had affected his judgement.
Magistrates handed Mudryk a 12-month community order, including 60 hours of unpaid work, and extended his driving ban by another year. He was also ordered to pay £199 in fines and costs.
The Chelsea winger still faces the prospect of a four-year suspension from football if he is found guilty of knowingly taking a banned substance—placing his Premier League future further in doubt.
