Chelsea Set To Rival Arsenal For Stunning €110M Double Deal

Chelsea are reportedly planning to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado and Juventus star, Kenan Yildiz in 2026, but rivals Arsenal are going to battle with them for the remarkable double deal.

In 2023–24, Casado enjoyed a breakout season, playing 36 games across all competitions under Hansi Flick, 23 of which were in La Liga. This season, the 22-year-old has played seven more games, but he has just once played all 90 minutes.

With his strong engine and ability to win duels before making a forward pass to put Barcelona on the offensive, Casado is a resilient defensive midfielder.

According to Fichajes as reported by Team Talk, Casado’s availability is “generating a lot of interest in Europe” with Chelsea and Arsenal “preparing moves to sign him in January.”

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta believes he can help Casado, a fellow Spaniard, develop into a top midfield player in the years to come.

On September 26, it was revealed that Barca had set a price tag of €30 million (£26 million). However, according to the source, he might be available for €30–35 million (up to £30.5 million).

Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Chelsea and Arsenal have an opportunity to sign Yildiz as a result of issues in Juventus’ contract negotiations with the attacker.

Although Enzo Maresca side’s summer proposal of €68–70 million for Yildiz was turned down, they are still attempting to make another bid for him.

It is said that Chelsea executives are “ready to attack” with a second offer, most likely in the next summer.

However, Yildiz, who can excel as a left winger or second striker, is also being considered by Arsenal.

The Gunners have made a “concrete offer” for the 20-year-old which involves moving Gabriel Jesus in the other direction.
