Chelsea Plot ‘Record Breaking’ Move For Vinicius Jr

Chelsea are reportedly preparing a blockbuster bid for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior, with growing uncertainty surrounding the Brazilian’s long-term future at the Bernabeu.

According to reports, the Blues are considering a £135million offer as tensions continue to simmer between Vinicius and new Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso.

The 25-year-old remains one of world football’s elite attackers, registering five goals and seven assists in 23 appearances this season despite ongoing off-field distractions, reports Football 365.

Contract talks between Vinicius and Real Madrid have stalled, largely due to the winger’s desire to earn wages comparable to Kylian Mbappe, who joined the club last summer.

That impasse, coupled with visible frustration during El Clasico earlier this season, has fuelled speculation that Madrid may be open to a sale to avoid losing him for free in 2027.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri previously claimed a “complete breakdown” in negotiations, with Real allegedly placing a €150m valuation on the Brazil international.

Vinicius stance and Chelsea’s growing interest

The Guardian now reports Chelsea see an opportunity to strike, as they look to add a genuine global superstar to spearhead their long-term project.

Chelsea’s new sporting structure is said to admire Vinicius’ pace, directness and big-game pedigree, viewing him as a transformational signing.

However, Spanish outlet Defensa Central insists the player has privately told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he wants to stay.

Journalist Marcos Benito has also dismissed Chelsea as a realistic destination, claiming the Premier League side cannot meet Vinicius’ wage demands.

For now, Real Madrid remain focused on securing a renewal, but with interest intensifying, this saga could define the next transfer window.
