The Nigeria striker impressed during his loan spell at the Turkish club, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances throughout the 2024/25 season.
Despite reported interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal, Osimhen chose to return to Istanbul with a lucrative four-year contract.
His new deal sees him earn £13 million annually around £250,000 per week plus an £870,000 signing bonus as part of the agreement.
Napoli have inserted a 10 percent sell-on clause, indicating Galatasaray will expect a profit if he is transferred in the future.
Chelsea, operating under a stricter wage structure, may now struggle to afford Osimhen’s rising salary demands and inflated resale value.
Only Raheem Sterling currently earns more at Stamford Bridge, with a reported weekly wage of £350,000 under the new club policy, reports Football London.
The Blues have already spent over £200 million this summer, bringing in seven signings, including Estevao and Joao Pedro, to rebuild the squad.
They remain active in the market, with Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons both strongly linked, yet Osimhen appears firmly out of reach for now.
