Chelsea are not currently going to join the race to sign Antoine Semenyo, despite investigating the attacker.
Semenyo is anticipated to leave Bournemouth in January, when clubs can activate his £65 million release clause by a specific deadline during the transfer window.
Liverpool, United, and City have all expressed their interest in Semenyo, while Chelsea yesterday inquired about the requirements for signing him.

However, Chelsea currently has no plans to explore their interest further. While Semenyo’s clause makes him appealing to a lot of clubs, the forward’s pay might be determined through an auction, and Chelsea will not violate their rules for any player. According To Independent News.
Semenyo’s contract has a contingency worth £65 million if a bid is made by an agreed-upon deadline in January. This includes £60 million in fixed fees and £5 million in attainable add-ons.
It is also anticipated that the release clause price will fall significantly next summer, although not below the £50 million rejected at the start of the previous window. Bristol City, which sold Semenyo to Bournemouth for £10 million in January 2023, will receive 20% of any profit generated on the 25-year-old.
