Chelsea have reportedly initiated contact with Rodrygo Goes’ representatives over a possible move to England from Real Madrid.
According to GOAL Brasil as reported by Sports Witness, the Blues understand there is a possibility the Brazilian could be available.
According to the report, Chelsea are keeping an eye on the Brazilian’s condition in relation to the summer window and are thinking about making an offer for him.
Chelsea have already contacted the player’s entourage to find out if a transfer is feasible this summer, though negotiations have not yet started. In Spain, there have long been rumors that the forward is prepared to move on.

Since his Real Madrid contract expires in 2028, Chelsea would have to pay a transfer fee in order to complete any deal. Considering his standing at the Santiago Bernabéu, the transfer fee would probably be high as well.
Regarding a possible departure from Real Madrid this summer, Rodrygo has remained silent. However, he has been outspoken on social media in refuting rumors of a falling out with colleagues Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham.
As of now, it seems like the Blues are just monitoring him to see if there’s a chance to make a big summer transfer.
