Bukayo Saka Signed A Long Term Deal With Arsenal

Bukayo Saka has agreed a new five-year contract with Arsenal, committing his long-term future to the Premier League leaders.

The England international was already tied down until 2027, but Arsenal moved quickly to reward his importance.

Saka will now remain at the Emirates Stadium until 2031, underlining his status as a cornerstone.

Despite heavy interest from elite European clubs, the winger’s preference was always staying with his boyhood club.

Arsenal view the new agreement as a key step in protecting their project under manager Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal secure a cornerstone of their long-term project

Since making his senior debut in 2018, Saka has developed into one of Arsenal’s most reliable performers.

The 24-year-old has combined consistency with leadership, becoming a driving force in big domestic and European matches.

This season, Saka has registered four goals and three assists as Arsenal push for the title.

The Gunners currently sit six points clear at the top following a hard-fought draw with Liverpool.

His extension follows new deals for William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, reports Goal.

However, Saka’s renewal is viewed internally as the strongest statement of Arsenal’s ambition moving forward.

Arteta previously expressed confidence in negotiations, praising Saka’s commitment and the trust shared between player and club.

With his future settled, Saka can now focus fully on helping Arsenal chase Premier League, Champions League and cup success.
