The Brazil Football Federation (CBF) is still eager to hire Carlo Ancelotti to coach their national team, even if recent negotiations almost fell through, and they are now prepared to wait for the Italian.
It appeared that the transaction was off the table earlier this week.

However, the CBF has now decided to exercise patience and try to retain the Italian manager.
Talks between Ancelotti and the CBF are still going on.
Leading the discussions are team director Rodrigo Caetano and CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues.
The fact that Ancelotti still has a contract with Real Madrid is their biggest worry.
He will remain in his current position at Madrid until the end of the La Liga season on May 26 unless anything unforeseen occurs.
Real Madrid might be able to expedite the procedure. Madrid’s hopes of winning the league would end if they lost the Clasico matchup with Barcelona on May 11.
This might persuade Florentino Perez to allow Ancelotti to depart early so that he can assume control of Brazil.
Despite this ambiguity, two CBF sources claim they are “in no hurry.” All Brazil wants is for the situation to be resolved by May 20, Reports Madrid Universal.
The team roster for their next World Cup qualifying matches against Ecuador (June 4) and Paraguay (June 9) is anticipated to be revealed at that time.
