Paris Saint-Germain defender, Lucas Beraldo has reportedly handed a transfer request in the aftermath of the French club’s FIFA Club World Cup final defeat to Chelsea.
Champions League winners PSG wanted to add to their trophy collection with the recently redesigned FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday night.
But the Blues easily defeated them, winning 3-0 following goals from Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro.
After the game, the Chelsea players were shown lifting the trophy with US President Donald Trump.

According to L’Equipe as reported by Sport Bible, after the final, Beraldo has submitted a transfer request.
Beraldo, a 21-year-old defender, wants to leave the Parc des Princes in order to play more frequently.
Beraldo has already submitted a transfer request, even though he only joined the club 18 months ago from Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo.
According to the source, Beraldo is content in Paris but is prepared to take a chance to establish his importance elsewhere in the hopes of making the Brazilian national team list for the 2026 World Cup.
Despite starting for PSG on Sunday, Beraldo found it difficult to cope with players like Pedro and Palmer.
According to certain reports, Beraldo’s transfer request caught the French Ligue 1 champions off guard, but they have chosen to comply with the player’s request with specific conditions.
PSG would need to sign another center back in order to permit Beraldo to depart, and Illia Zabarnyi of Bournemouth is believed to be the top choice.
