Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is reportedly set to undergo a shoulder surgery and faces long-term on the sidelines.
Los Blancos’ domestic season ends on Saturday, before beginning their preparations for the Club World Cup, which will take place from June 14 to July 13.
Bellingham is anticipated to be a member of the team that goes to the postseason tournament in the United States.
Following an unpleasant tumble and dislocation during a La Liga encounter against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023, the England international has been dealing with a shoulder issue.

In order to avoid further injury, he has been required to play with his shoulder firmly bandaged and postponed having surgery.
The Athletic as reported by the Daily Mail claimed that Madrid now plan to have Bellingham have surgery after the Club World Cup.
The 21-year-old could miss the start of the 2025–26 season due to the treatment, which could keep him out for 12 weeks.
After leaving Borussia Dortmund for Madrid for £115 million, Bellingham had an incredible first season.
With 23 goals in 43 games, he helped Ancelotti’s team win the Champions League and La Liga.
Despite Madrid’s difficulties, Bellingham has received some criticism this season for his 14 goals in 51 games.
The Spanish giants lost to Barcelona in La Liga and were eliminated by Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Last month, Madrid also lost to the Catalan giants 3-2 in the Copa del Rey final.
