Etta Eyong is reportedly attracting strong interest from top clubs following his impressive start to the season at Levante after joining from Villarreal.
The young striker is being watched by Barcelona, who had hoped to sign him last summer but were unable to do so because of their financial state.
Manchester United Want Eyong
According to SPORT as reported by Barca Universal, Man United are believed to be among the teams who have already made initial contact in an attempt to get an advantage in the competition for Eyong’s signature.

The Red Devils are yet again looking for a No. 9 despite spending a lot of money on Benjamin Sesko last summer, considering the Slovenian’s sluggish start at Old Trafford and Joshua Zirkzee’s unclear future.
Eyong has become a target as a result of his strong start to the season—five goals and three assists from eight games.
The 21-year-old Cameroon international’s contract with Levante includes a €30 million release clause. But given the details of his transfer deal, a sale would most likely be triggered by an offer of about €15 million.
However, the source claims that Eyong has stated his intention to stay in Spain. Should the Catalan team choose to pursue him, joining Barcelona would actually be his top choice.
During negotiations between the two parties last summer, the young forward previously voiced this desire. Due to salary cap restrictions, Barcelona ultimately chose not to pay his €10 million release clause at that time.
