FC Barcelona’s team for their UEFA Champions League match against Newcastle United was announced earlier today.
Lamine Yamal has not returned in time for the trip to England, since he is still recovering from pubic soreness.
Given Lamine’s influence and impact on matches, his absence creates a significant vacuum in Barcelona’s attacking unit. But against Valencia, the Blaugrana shown that they can still be an overwhelming offensive force.
Roony Bardghji will be benched
Against Valencia, new signing Roony Bardghji started in place of Lamine, marking his official Barcelona debut.
According to SPORT, Hansi Flick is expected to switch things up against Newcastle, leaving the 19-year-old winger out of the starting lineup tomorrow.

Bardghji fulfilled his aim by playing from the start against Valencia. He linked up nicely and showed glimpses of potential, but lacked the spark to unsettle defenders.
However, considering the high demands of a European night and a tough venue like St. James’ Park, it appears unlikely that Bardghji will keep his starting spot.
Flick decided to replace the Swede with Raphinha at halftime against Valencia. And, as it stands, the Brazilian international will start on the right wing against Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Bardghji’s fellow summer arrival, Marcus Rashford, will play on the left flank, as he did over the weekend.
The England international shone at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, looking slick and straight and even providing an assist. A return to his country at such an event provides additional motivation.
In the No. 9 spot, Robert Lewandowski is vying to replace Ferran Torres, who has started all four games this season, leaving Flick with a conundrum.
